A native of Cuba, Rosalina, her husband and two daughters immigrated to the United States in 1961.

She earned a Masters Degree in Commercial Sciences at the University of Havana and went on to become the private Secretary of the President of Cuba, but her dream always was to become an artist.

Mostly self taught, Rosalina started painting after her retirement in 1993. She attended workshops and studied under several well known artists in the Pasadena area and Northern California. She spent six months studying in Paris, France with Francoise Aubrey, Professor of the Academy of Art of Paris, and she continues her studies with David Fairrington, nationally recognized artist.

She has received many awards in juried competitions, too numerous to list. She is an active member of the Desert Art Center of Coachella Valley and the Pass Artist Association. She continues to be a member of the Sacramento Art Guild, Nevada City Art Association and Lake Wildwood Art Club.

Her paintings are included in several private collections in the United States, Spain, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Colombia and the House of Protocol of the Permanent Mission of Cuba in front of the UNESCO.

She resides and keeps her studio in Cherry Valley, California, where she continues to enjoy the happiness of a lifetime dream come true.
